I enjoyed the grounds and my bed (very comfy).

That you had to pay extra for the spa. it should have been included in the price of the hotel room.

I liked my room. The bed was quiet cozy with the fireplace going. It would have been nice if they had a continental breakfast as they have a culinary school on the premises. I would never have spent full price on this hotel and unless I get a discount. ...read more

It was the perfect style and setting for Vermont.

We had some rain and the building are not all connected and there are not covered walkways.(but they did offer us umbrellas)

This was definitely the place I would have wanted to stay in Vermont. It definitely matched the setting. Didn't expect stained carpets at that level of accommodation.

No internet. No counter space in bathroom. No towel rack.

Not a 4 star hotel. Bathroom lacked amenities such as towel racks, counter space and hooks. Older hotel built in a different period. Nice enough for what it was.
